If you’re looking for a car that will offer style, functionality, and fuel- efficiency, Suzuki Alto is it. At the heart of the car’s concept is Suzuki’s commitment to bring its loyal customers with a car they will truly enjoy. And with the eco-friendly, enjoyable, and economical driving experience the Suzuki Alto, the company can definitely meet its objective. In addition, the compact dimensions of the new Alto are also notable. Its minimum weight contributes greatly to its outstanding green credentials without sacrificing on the car’s user-friendliness.

Comfort, Style, and Practicality
Suzuki understands the needs of today’s mobile lifestyle. In this regard, the new Alto has a sporty, sophisticated look that exudes dynamic energy. And despite the compactness of the car, the Suzuki Alto contains impressive aerodynamics that provides efficient use of space. It also combines elegant contours with solid tautness.

While the Suzuki Alto is expected to appeal to the Australian market, it was actually designed to appeal to the global audience. It has a drag coefficient of only 0.30 which enables it to provide low CO2 emission and improve fuel economy. And the interiors of the Alto should not be forgotten either because the cabin provides ample space for four adults with a lot of extra space to spare.
The vehicle can house a lot a luggage because aside from the roomy space between its seats, there is also some usable space behind the rear seats. In addition, folding down the rear seat will provide additional space suitable for daily use. Overall, the Suzuki Alto has a length of 3,500mm, width of 1,600mm, and height of 1,470mm.

Engine and Transmission
In part because of its commitment to eco-friendliness, the Suzuki Alto uses a three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine. While this may not seem like much for individuals who are used to driving SUVs, this vehicle actually has a peak power of 50kW and a maximum torque of 90Nm.It is a Euro IV-compliant vehicle so you can expect a myriad of benefits attached to it as well.

The Suzuki Alto has a fuel consumption of only 4.5K/100km and a CO2 emission of just 103g/km. Its standard transmission is the five-speed manual though the four-speed automatic will be available as well.

Suspension
The front and rear suspension of the Suzuki Alto are equally impressive. The MacPherson strut-type suspension is used at the front for superior handling. Meanwhile, the rear suspension is of the manufacturer’s 3-link rigid axle design. It is drastically improved because it integrates various refinements to suit the demands of today’s demanding environment.
In addition, the dampers and coil springs are designed for superior handing stability. It should be noted that Suzuki particularly concentrated on handling in order to let drivers enjoy a linear driving experience and gentle roll movements.

Safety
Another notable aspect of the Suzuki Alto is its safety features. Among the things that were integrated include the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), SRS airbags, energy-dispersing structure, and high-rigidity frame. In the event of impact, the Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) from Suzuki will absorb the impact energy and disperse it away from the passengers.
